Calibrated precision steel tubes are used for particularly demanding solutions.

All materials used fulfil the requirements for marine classification and rail vehicle applications. Reliable and continuous operation of our u-joints with a high torque capacity is therefore guaranteed. Care Should be taken with the following points:
The shafts should be transported in horizontal position. For vertical transport an additional protection must be provided in order to avoid the shaft coming apart. The dust cap of the spline seal must not be loaded by the weight of the universal shaft. Hemp or nylon rope to be used (for small shaft only) Balance weights or plates should not be removed. Unbalance will cause uneven running and premature wear of the universal shaft and bearings of the connected units. Universal shafts, which have been stored for a long time, should be re greased in working position before installation. General Maintenance.
Maintenance should be carried out at regular intervals, and it is advisable to co-ordinate this with the maintenance work of the other machine parts. The maintenance intervals

LUBRICATION :-
For both intermittent & continuously rated joints where constant lubrication such as an oil bath is not available joint covers suitable for grease packing are recommended.
